Lol, the 370 in the pic isn't a nismo. :tup: But I agree, not super car status but still pretty sweet.

The Nismo gets mistaken for a Porsche all the time, so I can see why it's "closer" to a "super car". I never thought it was anywhere close to "rice" though... Maybe the Nismo 350z

Yeah it's funny to see people worship Porsche 911 gt2 as a super car while Nissan makes a very similar wing added onto Nismo they call it Ricer. Lolz. I guess people nowadays just don't really know what ricer really means and likes to throw the word everywhere. I bet if I switched the badges between the 2 cars they would call 911 gt2 a ricer while Nismo a super car.:ugh2:

Amazed how many people like the 300zx more than the 350z. That is the only one that looked too much like a sedan and not like a Z to me. Kinda Fugly IMHO.

You really left out a lot of models. You show a 280z, not a 240. 280zx i left out a is the first gen 300zx. Also people are posting a lot of non stock pics

Yeah a lot of posers throw the term around.

Rice is a fart can, and cheap unpainted screwed on body kit. Stickers all over the car that don't match even what is on the car. Usually crappy old import cars in bad shape with the same above. A front drive car with a rear spoiler that is none stock and nothing else and bolted on in such a way that would not work and looks hideous.

Last but not least you can't have rice unless it is on an Asian import car hence the word RICE.

If the offending car is from another country then another name has to be given.

Z's are like wine, they get better with age. And like wine young kids don't fully appreciate them. Only those who know do. :)

370Z Nismo

I have been a Corvette guy since childhood. Owned two beautiful Vettes but something definitely brought me over to the Z side when I saw my first 370Z. I do miss the raw, brute power of the V8 but man the 370Z is sweet!

All but the 350. To me it looked much like the last generation Celica, which I owned at the time.

I hope to buy a 280z next year. Cant wait.

No love for the Z31.. I loved my first Z. But, the 370Z wins- pre facelift. The LED DRL setup is too classy for me.. love my fangs! Nismo is super nice and aggressive, but for my pallette, I know the non-nismo body will stand the test of time better without looking dated.

My first Z. They look much better with tint and the factory side cladding torn off.

Stock vs stock, first gen Z34 nismo IMO. I might be biased though. Modded, all bets are off. They all look pretty nice.
