Do you guys get haters while driving a Z ?
 

today, I drive my Z around in rich neighborhood which I thought there should be a lot of educated and no stupid haters around. I drive normally 40 mph. Didnt cut anyone,Didnt wave in traffic, and didnt even pass anyone. I was waiting to make a U turn. A man in another U turn lane like 50 mid ages white american with some american crappy car. It's not an old car, it's just like a Lincoln something I dont sure. I'm an asian, but I pretty sure he didnt see me because my side window are tinted pretty dark,so it barely to see me from the side, so I dont think he was racist. He seems like in hurry to get out from the U-turn since he saws my car pull up and waiting for making a U-turn. I just sit there and let he goes first then he made a u turn suddenly thru a lot of traffic passing by and show me his tiny middle finger. I was stunning and going to chase him, but I can't get out from the U turn spot because It was a lot of traffic at that time. I sat there and think what did I do to him. finally, i found out that I did nothing to him :shakes head: I drove back and ask my friend ( im not native in US just come to study) he said that's normally when you drive a nice car, you will get a hater and they always do that. I just wanna tell him that next time if he doesnt like me just come and tell me in person not hiding in traffic and run away like a girl:shakes head:

I don't think he was hating on you, but rather some incident that made that person angry. Who knows, I wasn't there so I can't say.

First, he could be upset because you probably blocked his view, making his U turn more difficult.

Second, why were you going to chase him down? What did you hope to accomplish? It's highly unlikely that anything good would come from that.

Finally, I don't think people hate on the Z as much as we'd like to think. It's just a Nissan!

There is a town near me (Mason for any other Ohio folk) where a bunch of young kids have their parent's money and cars... I get grief from them every time im there, people get very aggressive when trying to start a race.

Not sure if its because i'm in a Z, a sports car, or the kids are just jackasses. Probably alot of all the three though.

Going in and out of my parking garage (6 floors till my spot) I get some honks or people waving me down once every couple of weeks. I think it's mostly about my exhaust sound levels. :rolleyes:

I could not block his view because he is the one who blocked my view he was on the side that traffic coming, so he can clearly see every cars. I'm the one who can't see the coming traffic. assuming that we made a U turn at the same time and a car going to crash me or him( we are like 5 meters away from each other). the car has to crash him first :shakes head: and I would like to go ask him that WTH wrong with you? I wont beat his ***, just wanna really ask. IF you hate me, what dont you just come talk with me like a man do. moreover, I feel bad because he is like 50s and at my dad's age. he should not be rude to a kid like me.

yea those kid are just ricers, they are usually do that until they wreck their car in coma after that they will stop it:driving:

I had a kid in my school talking about with his friends while walking. I mind my own business as I go past him and hes mutters something about me and ends it, "..driving a NISSAN!!!" in a shoddy attempt to make me feel worthless.

Kid sold his Camaro SS for a Mercedes C230.

Haters gonna hate, I'm loving my car.

It's uncommon for people to hate on Nissan . . . There are some other cars that attract haters way more often, I think (i.e. BMWs being driven by douchebag *******/s)

I get all love in the Z to be honest

When the wife is in the car...she's like "you must get a big head everytime you drive" lol

However, funny story from last week. At a stop light with a nice Porsche Cayman...was next to him for a few lights. He was totally cruising for looks. I won't lie, I thought driver looked a bit douchy...I tried to give a nod of respect...nada...

A man and his son are walking in front...look at porsche...then look at my car, dad thumbs up and says "beautiful", kid is pointing. I look over at Porsche guy....he was TOTALLY pissed he got no love...light turns green...he peels out...awesome :)

Everyone hates something...it's in our nature.
On the other hand, I'm sure there is another side to this lame story.
