Matt Farah's in a NISMO

Twitter / TheSmokingTire: Time for the NISMO Z! ...

Seems Matt Farah's shooting something for either The Smoking Tire or for Drive channel's "Tuned" involving a Nismo.

Can't wait to see what it is :)

Saw his comment. Wowzers, someone's a negative nancy, lol.

Not familiar with him, but based on his few comments, he seems like a total dickhole.

No.

The biggest debate is whether the Nismo version is worth the extra $$$ relative to a non-Nismo + sport with a tune.

The answer is... it depends on how much you plan to spend on mods and how much you like the body kit.

If "lots" for the first and "not especially" to the second, then stick with a regular Z.

If "a few things here and there" to the first and "love it!" for the second, go for it.

Also, no 7AT Nismo in the US... so if you want the auto, it's a deal breaker.

I agree completely. ^^

Also, I have seen many reviews done by Matt Farah, but looking at the twitter posts, he seems pretty judgemental about the car. I'd like to know what he thinks is bad about the car. Saying that heel toe is the mark of a good driver is one thing, but why blame Nissan for introducing a technology that will NEVER fail to rev match a shift? Plus, it's defeatable. Best of both worlds.

Gawl ‏@Gawl128
@TheSmokingTire Are you guys reviewing this car?

12 Oct Matt Farah ‏@TheSmokingTire
@Gawl128 No, not worth my words. It sucked.

=\

Haboob 10-14-2012 10:54 PM

Yeah, he is a douchebag.

Though, he may be correct that it's "real driving" there are people (like me) that physically can't heel-toe. I can't turn my foot that direction without getting massive surgery on my leg to do so.

I'll take synchro-revmatch thank you very much.

I can't answer that... but, based on posts in other threads it sounds like the answer to your question would be, "not really... but with practice it will all work out and be worth it".
