Actually I'm Going to a dealer which seem to just gotten shipment of 370z. I'm hoping that they would have a Brillant Silver in base with Auto, or a Pearl white in base with auto. thank for all the replies. I hope that I will like this Z this will be the second Nissan I've ever Driven. The other being my friend's modded g35.

Yea my bad I read the OP wrong. I always thought metallic paints were quickest to fail but wtf knows why I thought that.

I park mine outside as well, I got the white for the same reason, but also got it since I love white on cars. My white subaru did great ouside, can't say the same for it's CF hood though

that said, i think white and silver are the best colors for the Z regardless of the sun or not. :icon17:

Pearl white is the best , the silver will eventually fade to a dull gray with the all the sun and acid rain.

With white there really is no lighter shade it can fade to.

Just look around at white pearl and silver used cars around you. Most 5-10 yr old pearl cars still look pretty good, while the silver cars start to look like battle ship flat gray paint.

I call bullsh!t on yellow, mine has lasted for 4 years in the sun and still look brand new!
