now that i have your attention. i swear it's starting to cool off a little bit everyday down here in the heat of texas. it seems like for every 10 degrees
of temperature drop the 370 gains 5 more HP. come on oct, nov, dec, jan, feb.
and march. in Dec. it will run like it came with 375 easy.................:driving:

Word... My car comes ALIVE at night. It's like a whole new monster.

Just got all new tires today... Bridgestone RE-11's / 305's on the rear. Today was the first time I kept traction all the way through first at WOT off the line. Loving it.

Gee, I wonder why cold air intakes are created? I thought cars like hot air cuz it spews fire on the exhausts on race cars.

/sarcasm

Really?? That's cool...lol...

I agree our cars do come alive in the cold. u think that difference is dramatic, try hopping in a turbo car in 90 degrees then hop in the same car at 30. ~25whp difference

Call me crazy... I don't recall complaining about power issues with the 350Z regardless of temperature. It has enough torque for daily driving even though it doesn't pull as hard to redline compared to the 370Z. I could've sworn the 350Z felt consistent regardless of temps.

Catch my attention with a false headline and then tell me what everybody knows already. :shakes head:

*shrug*

I guess I'm coming at this from a different perspective after driving the Camaro SS for a year...but...the Z just doesn't "FEEL" fast to me yet. Hot or cold. It's definitely "quick"...and is clearly the superior car when thrashing through corners....but I miss the big V8 for the press you back into seat and then THROW you violently down the road feeling.

I'm thinking it's gonna take a TT setup up to help. Having ridden in a Z configured that way, I think it's gonna be a must have for my long term satisfaction with this car. It's just too underwhelming power-wise, otherwise.

You should try driving F.I. at night when it's cool out feel like 50hp increase.

enkei2k 09-27-2012 11:16 AM

Weight reduction too. I think for every 100 lbs lost = 1hp gained? Or something like that.

I remember going to San Diego with my SRT.

At first the car was worse, because it had to relearn everything once the weather got cooler. Thought it was broken until the next day.

It was a whole new car at that point! :happydance:

thats because the 350 didnt have the vvel which adds ALOT of heat in the engine.
