Does Nissan use the Z colours on any other vehicles?.
Dealerships in my city are only ordering a hand-full of 370Z a year. Right now three are 3 2013 and 3 2012 between five dealerships. So chances are, I might not be able to see all the colours in person. I have only seen solid red, gun metal and black rose.
Does Nissan use the same paint on other cars or are the Z colours exclusive? |
Yepp, on all the vehicles

And the new red?

Thanks for the help. I'll have to go check those out. |
Nissan/Infiniti has the worst paint in the business and about 50 shades of grey/silver. My Frontier avalanche or cloud white paint started chipping after 20,000 miles. The Pearl white Z only has 3100 miles on it and already 3 tiny rock chips. I got about 5 total of 10 years of owning a Preium Pearl White Prelude with a 3 stage coating.

eh, value doesnt matter to me....from the moment i signed the paperwork i knew this was a car that i'm going to keep for a very long time...but yeah seeing as there were only a little over 500 Monterey Blue that were produced for the entire U.S. for the four years that it was available i would say it's a safe bet that you would be correct. heck even before i bought my Z i already saw a dealer marking up the price a little on a used one just because the color wasnt very common, dealers exact wording in said ad "rare monterey blue Z w/sport package". back to topic though i think you can find the red they use on the Z is also used on the sentra SR |
