'12/'13 370Z Base Questions

Hello,

Does the Base ('12/'13) come with a spare tire? What if 19" wheels?
Can I add HD radio, w/o changing the stock stereo?
Can the stock speakers be upgraded without cutting anything?
How about adding a power amp?
Is the backup camera any good?

Thanks

I can only comment on the Base '12 as I just bought one; no options. It does indeed come equipped with a spare tire and 18" wheels. I am not sure what you mean "What if 19" wheels". You mean Sport package as an option?

I swapped out the factory head unit for a Pioneer X940BT with back up camera. At the time, I was going to upgrade the speakers but did not. I was told this can be done without hacking up the door or dash.

Hope this helps.

Thanks dcpatters.
Does the base come with cargo cover?
Does the Pioneer integrate with the steering wheel controls?
Are they wired for rearview camera? Does it automatically turn on when you shift into reverse? (do you have manual or automatic btw) Did you have to drill to put the camera itself?

Regards

No cargo cover.

Yes, the Pioneer integrates nicely with the steering wheel controls, the harness is extra, $90

Yes, the X940BT accepts a back up camera. It's wired into the reverse lights, so when they light, the Pioneer display switches to the camera rear view. I talked with the installer, he stated some owners, mainly Porsche owners, opt for two camera's, front and rear. This is to help when pulling into places.

A hole has to be made to route the wiring from the camera. Some go through the tag lamp.
