true that, my friend has Hyundai Sonata for 8 years, it had NO problems and he loves it. It has more than +110,000 miles on it right now..lol...

That car is still going very strong.

Once again, Hyundai cars for that last 10 years has been manufacturing great cars, I would even say better than American cars.

hyundai has a plant in alabama for making sonatas, idk if they make anything else there yet. the plant just opened a few years ago. i believe the rest of the cars are made in korea.

I saw the back of a black Genesis coupe today with dealer tags on it. It actually resembled a G37 to me.

Yes it's a south korean car company. Hyndai, kia, Daewoo and I think there is one more but not to sure.

I wouldn't even think of buying one, especially if it's imported from Korea.

anyway... a final answer to you guys...koreans cant make sports cars, and there will be nooooo competition as compared to our 370z.... i would so buy one of these things and burn it so there would be one less in the world as to how fugly that thing looks

They do have a couple plants in the US though, michagan and alabama if I remember right. I doubt the genesis is produced here however.

The vehicle assembly plant has an annual production capacity of 550,000 vehicles and represents a capital investment of $2.5 billion. The plant produces the Nissan Altima, Nissan Maxima, Nissan Xterra, Nissan Frontier and Nissan Pathfinder.

The vehicle assembly plant in Canton, Mississippi, began producing vehicles in May 2003. The $1.4 billion plant now produces the Nissan Altima, Nissan Quest, Nissan Armada, Nissan Titan and Infiniti QX56. The plant has an annual production capacity of 400,000 vehicles.

Nissan's powertrain assembly plant in Decherd, Tennessee, began production in May 1997.
