If you lived closer, I'd install for half that :p

Don't know if you checked with AAM. They can be a bit pricey, but they do good work. Other than them, I really don't know.

you don't want to try to install them yourself? I know nothing and I installed them myself with no issues. They still are looking great and you can't tell I installed them myself. All the plugs for everything are already where they need to be so its just a matter of popping out the old ones, running the new wires and hiding them, and plugging them in.

175 seems reasonable to me. I looked at the DIY myself a while back for my nismo. Not sure why you think the price is bad, its about 2 hrs labor.

That's why I just got my Z with the kick plates already installed from factory. Saves so much trouble :)

its actually very easy to do since the harness is plug n play. I installed mine w/out any issues!

If you are close to silver spring / rockville i can help you if needed..

:iagree: It is not hard to do.

Zenki370 08-30-2012 04:12 PM

I dont think so, I installed mine with the factory wiring harness in under 20 mins.

MattP725 08-30-2012 08:09 PM

Yeah def not 2 hours. Maybe 45 min if you really stretch it out.

An hour and two beers. A shop that's done it before shouldn't need anymore than an hour, tops.

jakexlee 08-31-2012 12:36 PM

alright. thanks guys. ill just try to do this myself!

Had mine done at the dealer for like $75 while they were doing an oil change. Sounds like someone is padding a bit.
