Good Customer Service from Covercraft

Three years ago next month I bought a Covercraft Weathershield cover for my 370Z. I cover my car daily while it is in the parking lot at work, so other than when we get the infrequent SouCal rain, it has been in use 5 days a week. One of the seams on it completely separated and I figured that I would have to find a shop that could sew it back together. I still had the original receipt and paperwork and was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a 4 year warranty. I called the manufacturer, received an RMA number and shipped it back. They decided to replace the cover and sent me a brand new one ! Covercraft covers are not inexpensive but they are custom fit and top quality. It's nice to find a made in USA product and from a manufacturer that stands behind it.

The cover is a full custom. You tell them which model 370Z you have (spoiler/no spoiler) and the color and it is made to fit. It is fully contoured and fits closely and perfectly. I paid about $275 3 years ago. I forget the exact model I ordered but my concerns were protection against sun/UV damage and dust, not moisture or snow, etc. Check their website for recommendations, everyone has different requirements. I like the model I chose because when not in use it can be rolled up tightly and stuffed into a drawstring bag not much larger than a football, a real consideration given the limited storage space of our cars. I usually just fold and roll and toss in the hatch until the next day and don't take the time to roll up tightly, and take it out and leave it in my garage if making a grocery run or something where I know I'll have items in the hatch.
