Removal of Tailights!!! Front bumper off??
 

Hey guys- I'm getting my tails painted this weekend and to save some $$$$ I wanted to take the tails to the shop instead of them having to remove.

I have never done this before and there really is not a good write up on it that I can find.

Do you have to take the rear bumper off to remove the tails (from what Im seeing in the other threads Im thinking yes).

Any tips would be appreciated.

Dont think so. Remove the plastic covering under the hatch neat the tail lights and I think you can get to the screws that way.

Like red6spd said. Go through your hatch. Carefully remove the interior pieces and you can undo the lights that way. Bumper does not have to come off.

edit: and from your title, if you are removing your front bumper to remove the taillights you need to stop drinking

Im glad to here that. I really wish there was a DIY on this. I have been reading through all of them and I really thought the bumper DID have to come off.
