Birthday Gift For My Dad
Hi everyone,
My Dad's birthday is this weekend and yeah that is short notice. Was wondering if anyone could help recommend a present for him? He has a 370Z convertible and would love a little extra power &/or speed from it. The car is currently stock. Looking to spend around $500...maybe a little more if it's really worth it, but not much more. If it was my car (Lancer Ralliart), I would just go to AMS and get a ECU-Reflash or something (flash ~$300 + $200 cables is in my ballpark), but I know nothing about the 370Z or what companies are respected in regards to tuning/modding them. Thanks in advance for any help provided! -Nick |
For around 500 bucks I would say get him some stillen gen 3 intakes.

Or if his Z is pre-2012, an oil cooler might be a good sub-500 buck option. :icon17: |

Thanks so much for your help guys! I appreciate it and the Stillen recommendation looks perfect!
@Triple's - I'll throw on some Care Bear stickers as well! +13 love at the wheel -Nick |
NST Pulley set. Not sure how mechanically inclined your dad is, but I paid $250 for the set + installation to give you an idea and the difference is there every time you drive. I know theres several vendors on this site selling them as well as an official thread.

Get him K&N drop in air filters and some fancy motor oil.

GT-R start button is economical and would make a great gift.

Staying out of jail will make him happy. Just kidding. Actually, a lot of the previous mentioned ideas sound good and I'm going to check into a few of them for myself. |
Down payment on an F.I. exhaust!
