I think the chirping crickets pretty much answer your question.

There is a video of someone who did this, then attempted to take it off. It peeled all the paint on his car off.

Yeah I wouldn't try it :) I used Plasti-dip for the grill/fang area of my bumper, but I also sanded off most of the original paint first, and I don't care much about cosmetics, I just figured it would look kinda cool and be easy to repair from rock/tirechunk hits with respraying the plastidip.

I think OP is really just a cheap A$$ no offense. But honestly who in their right mind would consider this? Seriously? This has to be a joke. Since money is the OBVIOUS ISSUE HERE, have you even considered wraping the car in white Vinyl?

You just joined this forum and it looks like you have been browsing and reading all the plastidip projects and success stories and little cute pictures and thought, "HEY if the fangs, emblems and rear valance look good? then I am sure plastidipping the entire car would look good to!"
C'MON!!!!!! :gtfo2:

You guys ruined it. I bet we could have actually gotten him to do it. :shakes head:

Plastidip has a purpose. I haven't seen anyone do it to where it pulled the paint off, but I have managed to spray the material off with a high pressure washer at a car wash, so I can only imagine it's not very durable in the long term for an entire vehicle.

Vinyl is a lot more expensive than most people seem to think... Either way, I'd learn to love the car the way it is. ;)

There is somebody that did it to an Audi (whole car) on youtube. White to black to demonstrate the whole car kit that is sold.
