Mahalo Sixty. Think I'm going to hold off until the Gun Metal comes in. The pic of the PW in the bay is exactly the same as I ordered, except for color.

Gotta tell you though......it's hard to hold off the urge to get it!

ts-c63 07-13-2012 05:13 PM

can someone photoshop the pic of the PW 2013 to see what it will look like with black out center part of front bumper

chrisz 07-13-2012 05:59 PM

Good work so far. I have a pearl white touring/sport non-nav on order from April. Starting to get impatient. I appreciate any pics you can get.

LakeShow 07-13-2012 06:02 PM

Wow thanks for the pics! The new front end looks quite nice and a tad bit more aggressive! Can't wait to get mine!

Show, I like the look of the front end better as well. The sport rims look nice in person, for me I'm 50/50 on that vs prior years sport rims. But what I do like about it, is it's easily recognizable as a 2013 Z, plus it is unique.

A couple things I noticed that many of you may or may not know, so I'll post anyway. Red brake calipers on the sport pkg only and that center square on the bottom of the rear bumper looks to be a red reflector on all color Z's.

Yeah I'm still on the fence about the new wheels, I'll have to see them in person to make a good comparison, I plan on changing them anyways. But the front end looks just great, didn't look as good in previous photos but in your photo it looks great! The red brakes were also a great addition, really sets the car off. Wonder if there's really any drastic difference in the new Euro tuned suspension and shocks compared to previous years.

I am meeting with a salesman in Fontana Nissan on Monday. :driving:

Beks, good luck with your negotiation. I think $1k over is reasonable and the dealer should accept that. My negotiated price at time of order is a little lower than that but I have a 2nd dealer who says they will beat the 1st dealers price (so 2 cars on order). That being said, for me it's not a done deal regarding the price until I actually receive the car at said price.

Show, I did get to speak to the technician prepping the PW Z and asked about the Euro suspension and any other differences between the 12 & 13.

Unfortunately he said this is the 1st 13 that he's doing, so he really can't give me info on that. But he did say that the prepping procedure of the 13, is different than the prepping procedure of the 12, and he's done a lot of 12's.

Not exactly sure what he meant by that, but I'm guessing more updates on the 13 than just Euro tuned suspension, rims & caliper color.

Hmm that's quite interesting he said that! I'm curious to see if there's really any other significant differences between the 12' and 13'.

That front end is atrocious! Looks like a 350z to me, and I never liked the way the 350 looked. With that said, I hope you get the one you like the most at a reasnable price. Good luck buddy.

Well, I hope the dealer will accept that. Fontana gave me the msrp of 45.3k on the phone. Tomorrow I'll find out what the deal is.
I just came from Miller Nissan, and the salesman tried to sell me 2012 for 45k.:rofl2: lol.

Let us know about the final price you'll pay!

Yeah we know all the differences. Check out the sticky thread. :tiphat:

• Refreshed front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights
• Red reflector added to rear fascia (replaces previous black center cover)
• Revised 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (Sport Package equipped models)
• New 18-inch wheels for 370Z Coupe
• Red-finished brake calipers (Sport Package equipped models)
• Dark-finish fuel gauge trim
• Euro-tuned shock absorbers (Sport Package equipped models) - Probably the same as the Euro GT version. Forum user 'bvl' says, "Traditionally, european cars with sport suspensions are a bit firmer then US sport suspensions."

not liking these stupid little changes, they should of dropped a tiny bit of weight, improved the stereo, improved the drivers vision, soft base brakes that can barely handle the engine.

dmhenderson 07-13-2012 08:56 PM

I want those damn red calipers with either nissan or nismo on them. They'd look so much nicer on my '12 mb nismo than the gray ones.
