should post in the stickied thread...

Some of those purplish looking shots are awful... otherwise I really like the first one (white)... I am honestly indifferent to the front end change but I could get used to it... the wheels I could take or leave (pretty much the same as the 40th just warped).

Eventually want to get my front end repainted from the stupid rock chips... maybe I'll go '13 bumper after I see it in person. Comes across as less aggressive though.

Digging the leather on the Nismo... they'd def do a lot better if they offered that in the US.

:yum: leather nismo's...

enkei2k 07-10-2012 11:22 AM

:yum: rear windshield wiper...lol

Question, I never noticed about the JDM model, but why is the e-brake still on the US Driver side? Wouldn't that make it awkward to reach for?

also they have the cupholder directly in their way

That must suck.... it's actually one of the things I like about the Z, its out of the way and I can drive more comfortably.

I think that is the way it's supposed to be, WE have it the wrong way! They didn't bother swapping it around for us.

The 350Z bumper meets the 370Z. New wheels too. Not enough for me to sell mine for one of these but I'd buy this one if something happened to mine.

shadoquad 07-10-2012 12:37 PM

I dislike the new front bumper. I like that they added LED's, but I don't like the position, and I don't like the "double chin" appearance.

The new sports rims look more organic, but I think it goes against most of the lines of the car. The new base rims are just the base roadster rims that were difficult to clean and are, imo, not as attractive as the old base coupe rims.

It's still an attractive car, but I don't see the changes as upgrades.

HappyZmoke 07-10-2012 12:38 PM

the rims on the orange z is UGLY.

cheshirecat 07-10-2012 12:56 PM

the wiper is back? oh god.

That's on JDM, no idea if it'll be on USDM.

Cmike2780 07-10-2012 01:01 PM

The wiper has always been in the Jdm/euro spec cars. It does seem like the Sports package no longer has the wing and chin spoiler

Maybe the Japanese simply realize how much better that looks. :stirthepot:

Mikes350z 07-10-2012 01:14 PM

The orange makes me so mad, I always wanted my 350 in lemans sunset instead of silverstone, and now I have a mag black 370.... might trade in my 09' for a 13' order simply because I love the color, miss a rear wiper, dont have heated side view mirrors... sounds dumb but in the northeast its a huge deal.

DLSTR 07-10-2012 01:15 PM

Nice, thanks for posting!!

Sibze 07-10-2012 02:48 PM

No thanks. Do not like the changes

SPOHN 07-10-2012 05:07 PM

All of those cars had red calipers. Wonder if that is standered now?

I believe it is for the Nismo. I remember seeing that at Zdayz. But I'm not sure about sports pkg or non-sports.

I think it might be across the board for all sport brakes now.
I mean, they had some left over from the 40th anniversary. ;)

I am still not agreeing with the LEDs.

I love the new front bumper.

Some of you may not and that's ok.

specZ 07-10-2012 05:49 PM

as stated previously.... leather nismo seats :leghump:

Z-Girl 12 07-10-2012 06:01 PM

I love the burnt orange but the front bumper is a no go. Not aggressive enough for me, and the wheels just aren't that exciting. Glad I didn't hold out for it.

HArturo319 07-10-2012 06:21 PM

I'll stick with NISMO

Not for 10K more. Just slap a aftermarket bumper on and good to go.

buddyZ 07-10-2012 08:39 PM

I actually like the leds on the front bumper but those oem wheels are nasty looking. I would hate to have to stare at those everyday.

Zer02Sixty 07-10-2012 09:30 PM

I feel like the colors are brighter than they will appear in person. The "midnight blue" looks more like the 350z Daytona Blue.

Strangler 07-10-2012 10:26 PM

I like that rear windshield wiper, that way I don't have to use that Rain-X crap that fogs up the windows.

Magic Bus 07-10-2012 10:50 PM

I really like the look of the new front end. But the '12 sport rims looks cleaner than the '13, but I think I'll get used to it......I better, got a '13 coming in shortly!

Gauge 07-11-2012 08:26 AM

I can't express how gay those front LED's are.

They do make the car look more cheerful.

kuriz32 07-15-2012 02:31 AM

The front chin spoiler and wing are now optional in Japan. See the bottom of the page here:
?????????Z [ Z ] ????&???????/SUV ? ??????? ? ?????????

The red calipers are now stock on the Sport models.

Those were always optional in Japan, in Japan you could basically pick & choose what you wanted with all the option. From Nismo with leather to a fully loaded coupe with cloth seats.

TypeOne 07-16-2012 04:55 PM

I'm liking this bumper more and more... wonder if regular lips will fit on it..
