Spitting incident
 

Hello all,
Just wanted to share a rather funny story that happened a couple of days ago.
I was driving about 70 mph (speed limit) on the I-10 when a truck rolls up next to me. He looks at me and it seems like he wants to tell me something so I just smile and wave. He rolls down his windows and attempts to spit at my car. But because of the interstate speeds, the spit ends up going back and hitting his own car. I laugh and he speeds off looking raged. Ok, just wanted to share lol :hello:

What is wrong with people? People hate so much they can't control themselves. I honestly don’t understand why. If they don’t like the car, which is fine, then they should feel lucky they didn’t buy it and end it there.

I am so glad the OP has a great story to tell.

This is the kind of situation talked about recently. It could lead to worse. Some jerk starts something, and the Z driver finishes it, only to now be the aggressor.

I have an idea of what the motive might have been. The Z is, of course, a Japanese import. There are still many people in this country who don't like people buying anything but an American-made vehicle, and there are also those who still hold grudges against the Japanese. I own a Corvette and I mentioned that I also owned a Z on a Corvette forum a couple of years ago - the comments that some people made to me were unbelievable.

Was the guy driving an import or a "Big 3" truck?

Next time get his tag, pull out your cell phone, hit *67 to mask you, dial 911, tell them you saw his vehicle weaving all over the highway and give them his tag #. He's probably drunk anyway. :tiphat:

Only had my new Z a few weeks already it seems more often than not it's a truck of some sort wanting to do a fly-by slash cut-off to prove something I guess. Comical sometimes. :icon17:

lol, this exact same thing has happened to my Z before only mine was parked with me inside for the night and i come out the next morning to find a nice big mixture of snot and spit on my drivers side window only a week after i had gotten the car....now either it was just some random douchebag, but thinking back on it there were 2 people in my family that were very upset at the fact that i now had a Z and both of them knew the place where i was going to be staying. Just seemed to ring a bell when i remember my idiot 20 year old cousin made a snyde remark about it being "expensive" to replace something on my car the first time something broke that very night before i went to my sisters house who lived in town.

This was actually in New Orleans, LA. The guy was driving what looked like an old ford pick up. Between LA and Texas, not sure who has the worst drivers. :driving:
