Get some urine on his door handle too. If his window is down..... well, I think you know what must be done.

An open can of sardines under his seat is always a crowd pleaser too. ;)

If you see the guy , and then beat him up, you went to him....The threat is over now..Maybe your state is different, but to find the guy, after the threat is over, and then beat him up is assault and battery..

The Cop won't do the time for you..So what you say the cop said is hear say..

Maybe I would ask a lawyer what is legal to do..This cop sounds way beyond the law..

If you follow him, he is now feeling threatened...The law is the law...Just looking out for you brother..The Cop seems wrong. I am just giving you advise to proceed properly, so the loser won't sue you.

Oh ya, i am pissed off and would like to crush the guys hands so he cannot throw a feather, but i am stating the law to protect you..

We cannot let the losers sue us, or put US in jail...Check it out before you act, and ask a LAWYER...Or the procecutor of your county..Not the Cop.

Oh ya, i live in California where the criminals have all the rights....

The cop said to fight him if he tries to do something again, which is totally legal IF OP feels threatened and can't retreat.

But if he sees the loser, then follows the loser, then gets out of his car and then confronts the loser, who then is now the aggressor ?

Our Z car buddy...

If the loser confronts him, I agree with you.

But you cannot use a gun against a can of tea...

And I am no lawyer, and yes, I live in California, where things are all screwed up, and the criminals have the rights...

People are crazy. You just have to ignore these idiots. It's one thing to cut someone off blatantly and another to do it by accident. Our cars have a huge blind spot and it's something I've done by accident a few times. I usually try and apologize afterwards and it works most of the time to calm people down. I get pissed off if someone cuts me off, but I just remind myself that it's not worth the trouble. Other people just don't have that self control and are just looking for conflict.

You should have caught the can in mid air and said thank you. That would have been awesome!

jayl 07-05-2012 04:28 PM

Totally agree that if he follows him he loses a lot of the self defense argument. Oh and move to Arizona... I'm only 8 hours from the beach lol

AKA George Zimmerman/Treyvon Martin who is now facing life in prison for persuing someone instead of letting the cops handle it. Even if he happens to beat the charge, he will live in fear for the rest of his life.

Try living in Orange County Southern California where soccer moms in their BMW X5's and Land Rovers will be getting crazy with you on a 40mph roll...

I get reved on almost everyday by every single type of car. Any time you drive a boy racer looking car aka EVo STi,Z youre going to get messed with.

I saw your post in the STL thread and my first reaction was to think that idiot was envious. Now I read this and I think he was envious AND crazy. So sorry this happened, we really do have some psychos in this city.

Wish I could say this never happened to me but unfortunately it has for simple things like merging into a tight line of traffic when they're all following too closely and I HAVE to get in or miss my exit. Some people get in a car and think it's their royal chariot and HOW DARE YOU try and drive your car on THEIR road. They'd never act like that if you accidentally cut them off with your cart in the grocery store.

Anyway, Jason, sorry to hear. Awesome the cop remembers your car though... take that compliment from this situation and forget the rest. There's no winning against the morons of this world. Just know he's now even closer to his heart attack from the stressful life he lives... and you'll continue to be cruising in your Z...

This is typical every day life in Wasington State. Home of the absolute worst drivers in the U.S.! I never get any type of apology when I get cut off or when anyone pulls out in front of me causing me to slam on my brakes to avoid an accident. Their perspective is "well you shouldn't have been driving on the same road as me." These a$$holes are the most entitled morons I've ever met! To top it off, NO ONE understands proper right of way or the meaning of the yellow lines for legal passing here.

keb370z 07-06-2012 09:32 AM

I think the denser the human population, the more entitled and crazy people become. As if it's some competition for resources or something. I've been all around the country, and the two places I remember having the best courtesy on the road were southwestern Colorado (small towns), and Memphis, TN, which is a pretty big city, but everyone was so polite on the road and left so much following distance that when we got on the highway back to St. Louis, with each mile closer to St. Louis we got, the more aggressive people got, and it was culture shock after driving in Memphis for a few days.

Why do you guys believe that there's always envy involved in these situations. That's some really self absorbed bullsh1t.

Because claiming some moron is envious kind of takes the edge off things. And because it's nice to have a sense of humor in situations like these. You should try one on sometime. You might like it.

And for the record, yes, I am self-absorbed. That is not bs. That's the truth. :tiphat: :rofl2:

Guess what? Being self-absorbed will kick you in the azz one day. And when it does? Post it on you tube. I can use a good laugh. :icon18:

Who said I didn't have a sense of humor.:bowrofl:

Hey!

With all due respect, just what the h#ll would you have done if you had been carrying? (Stop here to envision scenarios.) Yes, the guy was a total jerk, but it ended with nobody getting hurt. It's awful about your car...he had no right to do that.

Jasonle 07-06-2012 07:16 PM

Nothing with the weapon. But in case he came at me with something when he came up to my window

SmallermouseZ 07-06-2012 11:20 PM

Should have cut in front of him and slammed on the brakes and make him suffer!
