I had a horrible high pitch noise coming from my passenger side. Turned out to just be my passenger screaming as I drifted around corners.

Also this is not on every car, I drove 3 on the dealers lot and not one had this sound.

Wow, you guys must have some serious ninja hearing going on, because the only thing i hear is loud music or road noise with the occasional pebble pinging off the inside of the fender hehe :)
(I'm not complaining, if i wanted a quiet ride I would have bought something else) I tried to listen for it but could not hear it. |

I think the sound is coming from inside the engine bay, it sounds like it is emitting from underneath the intake/engine cover.
I had the hood open today and had someone in the car while it was running, when they turned the car off, the sound continued for about 2-3 seconds. Try it and you'll see what I mean. It's a constant hi-pitched sine wave sound though. I originally thought this was coming from some electrical component behind the dash, now it seams like it is from the engine bay, and I'm just hearing it coming through the dash. |
I don't seem to have it either so there are at least two of us without the problem...
 |

This is exactly what I have as well, and seems to be the same sound all the G37 owners were complaining about also. You can't really hear it when the car is running and you're driving, so if this is indeed what he is hearing, he has a much louder version than we do. John |
