Has anyone else has gotten a “satisfaction” survey call from Nissan North America?

I got a surprising call today… I’ve just gotten off the phone with Nissan North America! So then, I’m wondering if anyone else has gotten a “satisfaction” survey call from Nissan North America? I answered a few questions regarding my recent 370Z purchase (purchased April 3, 2009) for them and they want me to come in for some additional questions, comments/review so far of my 370Z experience – very interesting. I’m going to see them on the 22nd at their Costa Mesa HQ. Anyone else here in So Cal hear from them? Thinking it could be a good forum to bring up the oil temp issue?

I received 2 calls from a 1-800 number over the past few days where after some investigation, realized they were from Nissan. Maybe next time I'll answer the phone call....

Yep - they called me a few times as well using the 800#. They called my cell and work numbers but never left a message. I finally took the call at work figuring someone is really trying to reach me... was pleasantly surprised

Yes, I started a thread about it yesterday. They asked about a dozen ?'s and they wanted me to further involve myself in a survey in Costa Mesa,CA for Nissan SW division. They offered a $150 gift card for my 1 hr. participation. I'm going. I'm hoping they're gonna have some GTR's and 370's at a track or something because they wanted me to bring my license and proof of insurance.

No, I havent received a call yet. I bought my car like a week before you so I probably should be receiving one soon. Is this Nissan event on the 22nd open to the public and anyone who's purchased a Nissan lately or Invite Only ?

HTTWHLS 06-16-2009 05:52 PM

edeeZee - ah, sorry I missed your thread... They only bribed me with a $100 gift card - HA! I would have gone regardless, too good an opportunity to pass up!

Z_you_later - don't think it is open to the public. Had to pick a day and time to come in - seems to be invite only

Yep, I was called this weekend - couldn't do their thing in Costa Mesa though since they only schedule times during normal work hours (kinda' stupid since people with normal 9-5 jobs would not be able to participate).

StLRedrider 06-16-2009 08:56 PM

They haven't hit me with a survey yet.

Pushing_Tin 06-16-2009 09:11 PM

I've gotten at least 2 surveys, but no calls.

You got tapped for a Focus Group session. It should be fun...

HTTWHLS 06-17-2009 04:43 PM

Ok so just got my invitation to the Nissan 370Z early buyer
study emailed to me. Aside from it requesting me to "Please be sure to bring your vehicle, invitation, valid driver’s license, and Certificate of
Insurance or Proof of Registration for your 2009 Nissan 370Z with you to the interview". they further indicate "We will want to view your vehicle so it is essential that you bring your 370Z to the
interview. Please keep the vehicle as it would be in a typical day." hummm... that's kind of interesting - eh? So maybe this is a silly question, but should I be concerned at all about my mods - or Nissan seeing them?

cab83_750 06-17-2009 10:56 PM

I received the survey: BTW, I stressed that I am not happy about the overheating issue.

I was invited for Monday or Tuesday of next week. I politely refused as Costa Mesa is about 2 hours away from my house.
