Just spent about $550 on some stereo stuff for the S2000. Stock HU and speakers suck so I am replacing the HU, two speakers, and two tweeters. Also got a special dash control interface so I can use the dash controls. And a Sirius tuner.

Hopefully it does not sound like crap. A cheap $5 chinese 4 x AAA battery portable radio sounds better than the stock S2000 stereo.

Yeah definitely. It's just that the stock stuff is uber terrible so hopefully upgrading it with a better HU and higher quality speakers will be enough. I'm not looking for great sound, just good quality sound. Currently it sounds like total crap!

S2K stereo sounds worse than the 370Z base stereo. Compared to the S2000 the 370Z Base sounds like the National Symphony Orchestra.

yah, my kids dont watch tv either... they're actually too busy and dont have much time left for tv. they do watch dvd's and stuff and enjoy that so they must like tv too. just doesnt fit our schedule.
