Doing better besides a bit of blurriness. (is that a word?)
I've been taking Sinex to help and my eye has not been watering up as much. :)

so i ended up getting a seiko kinetic watch. very accurate.

Sounds like it needed some regulation!

My first ever watch was a Seiko kinetic (I still have it safely stored away.) They are nice and keep perfect time. But I prefer the intricacies of automatic movements, even if they are relatively inexpensive like the Seiko 7S26 and require some regulation. I can get the 7S26 to get to +/- 10-15 seconds per day which is good for that movement.

I might source some parts later this year to build a watch with a Swiss ETA automatic movement.

Not sure if allergy related or sinus infection. This has been going on since March. I love paying doctors to find nothing out!

I have had a Casio G-Shock Multi Band 5 Atomic Solar watch for about 10 years now. It keeps perfect time. My wife gave it to me as a birthday present. It was pricey at the time, but it has been worth the cost. I say invest in a good watch, and call it a day. Inaccurate watches bother me. :shakes head:

Have you try giving a gentle massage around the sinus area? Gently 'milk' the area downwards to release the pressure thus the watery condition should slowly fade away...

mr.gale- hahaha, possibly. good thing internet does not transmit odor. :ugh2:

 on the gopro test drive. yes, the audio is a challenge on the thing and from inside vehicle shots, even with spot metering on, the wash-out effect on a sunny day is the next issue im trying to tackle.

i am not sure if adding a ND filter over the gopro housing is going to help my situation or not yet. im thinking about temporarily mounting a 52mm ND for kicks. if it helps, i will make a custom mount or something on the outer case.

hello, mr.onzedge!

hey pint, is your car in for the same thing again?

that sucks. can you get it from another shop? and just return the thing due to 'delay.' let the shop eat the freight too. i dont take delay as an excuse these days from online shops. wat good are they if they cant deliver on time? id just buy the damn thing locally as most local shops honor other shop prices.

I was reading that you were having problems with that. I was also going to suggest the spot metering, but looks like you beat me to it. Let me know how the ND filter works out for you. My test looked great, but it was a little overcast yesterday.

if your camera is outside the car you shouldn't have much issues unless you're on snow or something. it's when taken from inside the car with no sunroof on a sunny day. the interior shots look great, but the outside is washed out sometimes.

i think if i have the same setup in my G with the sunroof shade open i will not have this problem. :)

Hey Gale!

I saw a Prius this morning with a bumper sticker that said "Watch out for Invisible Cows", and judging by her 20 mph swerving on the 35 mph road, they must have been out partying in the streets! :ugh2:

Z is getting driven less during the week since I'm taking the remaining 6 months of the parental leave and staying home with my son and the wife is going back hehe

I spent all day yesterday getting Uprev/Dyno while her mom from Ottawa babysat, so not a bad deal...I'm working in my "days off" to get Z time

Because of the severe blistering I can't use the aloe. Really can't do anything but cold compress, carefully.

Was at the beach for too long! Bad sunburn so I have some nasty blisters all up my upper arm/shoulder area. Sleeved shirts were impossible Sunday and Monday. Today sleeved shirts are just extremely painful. :rofl2:

How severe?!? I've been given doctor approval to use aloe on blistered sunburns as well as 2nd degree burns I've received working in a kitchen before. They recommended not using pre-packaged gel or spray bottle and told me to make sure to use aloe from the actual plant.

edit* if the blisters have opened then aloe is a no go

Yeah some have opened so I have to be careful with what I use. I just hope it clears up enough by the weekend so I can work on the car.
