yah, the mofo was trying to be funny or something 'playing' numbers and i made sure he and his manager understood their dumb-arse idea was not funny at all.

i took the crayon out of his hand and smacked it on the table infront of him breaking it into several pieces. i literally told him to stop f-king around.

Where the hell do you suppose you picked that up? What was the leak like? Immediate, or slow?

Mr.happytheman, I can tell you about this... since I am an experienced on nailed-tire :ugh2:

As long as the nail is stuck onto the tire, the leak is slow, however, once it popped... (which you won't know when... :ugh2:) you're in trouble..... :icon14:

Probably to draw a kitty cat. :p

I've had good experiences and bad, but my 2012 Z was probably the worst. I even got a free maintenance plan with the car, and I don't think I'll use it; I'd rather take it to the other dealer (closer to my house) where I bought my 2011, where the guy actually notes in my account to put in dino oil for the winter instead of the "good stuff" and I don't have to remind them, and they ASK me if I want the car washed.

After my purchase experience at this other dealer, I can't imagine their service department is worth a crap. The salesman quoted me NISMO invoice price as the invoice price for a sport/touring and they lowballed my trade by $3,000 on the first offer. I had to make this poor guy to back to the sales manager three times, and then they left me sitting in the lobby for over an hour, and then they gave me that "Anti theft, oh, it's already on the car, it's figured into the price blah blah blah."

I won't be giving them any more of my money.

that container pin was brutal. it was on a brand new wheel set back in 2004 with brand new GSD3's. i was just happy the pin didn't penetrate the wheel.

i drive through a corporate area near the end of my drive where there's some containers and tractor trailer traffic. that's where i picked it up. im VERY CAREFUL and driving slow in this one section looking for pins on the road, but havent' seen one for the last 8yrs. :)

Nope makes your chest look small. LOL The other weekend me and 4 of the other fire department members went to a charity Trap shoot benefiting a charity in our 1asst chiefs father name. I have never done trap shooting and with a loaner gun hit 44 of 100. I was pretty impressed even though I am a very good shot with a rifle at stationary targets. :ugh2:

Fire 07-31-2012 01:07 PM

I'd just throw out a rescue ring to m4. If he missed it I'm sure he would be able to float on his cooler once he let the beer out. :bowrofl:

The thing about trap/skeet/sporting clays is your swing and follow through. It's quite different than shooting stationary targets. Aim just in front of the clay and continue your swing after you pull the trigger. This will create a large swath of shot for the clay. Keep your head down, and use your finger on the forfend of the gun to point where you want to shoot. It makes the natural connection between eye and hand.

Luna knows what he says. Most of my misses I stopped moving the gun. That and I learned that with the gun I had I needed to cover up the clay instead of centering it in the sites. The forefinger thing I will have to look at. I wrapped all my fingers of the front hand around the stock.

I had a shooting coach and he made me tape a shirt button on the front stock. Put my finger on the button and point where I want to shoot!

Fire 07-31-2012 02:11 PM

We had people helping us but nobody mentioned that. Hoping that we can get together and shoot without many people around. There where 69 people shooting that day.

Mt what track day group do you run with? At Watkins Glen I think there are 3 groups that run a total of about 7-8 events per year.
