What kind of reason backed your generally inflammatory statement? Perhaps you are jealous of all the individuals who own body kits? :gtfo2:

I think we might want to reconsider this thread...

do bodykits serve purpose? no
do wings serve purpose to a tracked vehicle? yes.
my vehicle is in the process of about 500whp.. not that much but downforce does help.
just pissed me off that someone can ask a question and have near all other members posting talk bad instead of trying to help.. were not children are we? does the op really care about your personal preferences on liking it or not ?

Some do, some don't. So it's not really a yes/no question... :ugh2:

to be fair, we did give him the link to the wing... This wing serves no function. Obviously.
Wing workings go like this.

Fiberglass=small and lightweight. Usually just cosmetic but may create a decreas in the vortex behind the car, not really meant for downforce unless specifically aplied (amuse wing for insance). Must be caful as weight can become an issue if too large, defeating purpose.

Aluminum= Heavy duty track use. Much more functional than cosmeic, and lage size is offset by low weight (compared to a fiberglass wing of similiar size). Used almost exclusively to tune downforce or upforce depending on application like the rado tc) Also more structurally sound and adjustable for specific aplications.

NOTE: these are generalizations

That is why aluminum spoiers look rediculous and "rice" when not on track vehicles. Oversized fiberglass wings do the same, although there is no situation on the track OR the street in which a huge disgusing wing like this would apply, unless ou need a place to sit. Or if you run out of gas you can use it to push your car home like a shopping cart.

BTW Chad, you and I only have one rep point and these guys have alot so I would listen to them, they know more about this platform than we do, and flaming at them is probably a bad idea. Just some freindly advice brother.

I believe there were tests done for the AMUSE kit that actually shows increase downforce/decreased drag. The Nismo kit probably does the same.
