Drove Atlanta to Ft Bragg, NC to Atlanta

Just sharing the fun of driving my Z back forth from Ft Bragg for work.

on the way home avg 27 mpg at about 73 mph,
I only go about 5 miles above, not worth the extra hassle of worrying about traffic.
Car is easy to drive and I wish I could do it faster, it seem that it would easily run at 100 mph for 4 hours instead of the 6....

Saw no other 370z on the way home, did see a 350z...

oil temp was about 220 for such a long drive.

only complaint was the seats, got a little uncomfortable after about 3 hours...

just some thoughts..

Nice! I have the Touring seats and I think they are rather comfortable compared to the cloth seats which seem fairly hard. I'm not sure which you have.

I enjoy reading that your temp hit 220 on a 6 hour drive, seeing how it averaged a high of 80 today in central PA temps....I could imagine further down south. Helps that I most likely wouldn't need an oil cooler..

I have a base+sport and I find the seats can be uncomfortable for my right hip/*** cheeck. I cant figure out if it is that I lean to the right because of the shifter, or if my butt is too big for the seats.

That said, i find the seats in my friends M3 to be terribly uncomfortable but find the seats in my old Corolla S to be great for 10 hours.

He has a 2012 Z, which has a factory oil cooler.
