Filter type?

In light of my recent events, I have seen many different threads discussing oil type/temps. But, what filter is everyone using when they change their oil? Just wondering. The temp results that I experienced at the air strip this afternoon seem better than what I had with normal break in driving style that I had before. Average temp without rockin on the car was 220-230 degrees. Multiple 130+ mph runs with this M1-110 filter and temp never got above 225.

I'm using the K&N oil filter. I forgot the part number but AK370Z has it in his DIY section. I've had no problem with oil temp(yet), but maybe it's because the redline oil I'm using too.

What temp you usually hit with redline oil? My Z currently running on Penzoil platinum, and the engine oil temp is always around 220F(80F outside)

K&N here. Willing to give Amsoil Wix filters a try next.

I will be going with Amsoil filters personally.

Cant believe some of those pics. Oh wait, yes I can. That really sucks to see. I went with the Mobile 1. The dealers mech couldnt get an OEM filter to fit up and not leak on my car. Maybe a bad lot of filters or something. But on Monday I am taking it back in to be looked at. Although I would never use that crappy azz OEM, if it will not be leak free on my car, then there is a problem that the dealer is going to have to fix. My car is only a month and a half old..........We will see what they say tomorrow.

First oil change coming up in a couple weeks. Here's what I'm using.

I'm presently using a K&N HP-1010, it gives more filter volume than the standard HP-1008.

K&N hp-1008
