Went to Altered Atmosphere today

Met one other member from the board, zZSportZz. We were the only ones that had 370's there (at least when I left it was). Good combination because he has the 6M and I have the 7AT. Can't wait to see how his dyno came out! In the meantime, here's mine:

I wonder what that dip is at 4700 rpm? I hope that is not timing pull due to detonation.

No, I sure don't. After I got mine done and set up my appointment for my mod's I headed back home. I know it did gander some attention when it first arrived. But once something new arrived.....all the gawkers and picture takers move to the next new thing! :icon17:

Haha, i was there too. Will post my results since I know you were curious....we were pretty much identical. I was at 273.19/225.15. I had a run at 275 rwhp...but produced lower torque numbers.

I was there a couple hours later, the genesis never moved =)

the nismo Z has 456 RWHP

I take it these dyno numbers are stock, prior to mods? Not bad at all if stock.

I'm posting my results in this thread because the OP was curious as to how our numbers compared (I'm not trying to hijack the thread) Same dyno, I went right after him. Bone stock as well - no mods.

Wow. That definitely shows the consistency between two different Z's!

Not to mention different trannies.

Goes to show there is little to no difference in power loss for 6MT vs 7AT.

...and what the hell was that bamboo-mobile!?!!? To each his own I guess but that is just hideous IMO.

Got some more info on the Genesis. Apparently it was dynoed before I got there and came in at 260 rwhp (auto tranny) which is pretty respectable.

I am blown away at the consistency between the two cars and transmissions.

And the irony is, the 7at is supposedly faster than the 6 man, in the 1/4.

How the F does that Z w/ the crazy paint job + the bamboo in his trunk see out his back window :p

the dragon shifter is the funniest part. some people have way more money than sense (or taste).
