Memorial Weekend Modding Time!!!

The wife is going out of town for my sister's Bachelorette and I got 3 days with the Z. Order a bunch of stuff, so it's modding time! Thought I would share.

The plan:
1. Swift Spring Install

2. JWT Popcharger Install (May get flamed, but dishing out an extra $250 for G3 and 8-10 more HP on a minimal gain mod doesn't make sense, its only for more grunt anyway.)

3. 20mm/25mm Spacer install

4. Tail Light smoke out tinting (35%, leaving turn signals clear)

Here's what she looks like now, need to get rid of the wheel gaps! I will do before and after photos come around Sunday or Monday.

Anyone else have mod plans this weekend? Please share.

Sounds like a weekend I'd rather be doing. I'm going to try and wash/wax the Z but the wife mod is wanting me to take her out this weekend.

Happy modding and post up the after pics.

No taillight tint IMO... the rest sounds like a solid plan.

The real question is... Do you plan on telling her what you did to the car when she gets back? Or hope she doesn't realize LOL

Tail tint would match up to the blacked out headlights pretty well.

As for Pop Charger vs Long Tube CAI, that's an individual decision. I prefer the long tube CAI. Extra power, amazing sound. But the Pop Charger is much easier to install and easier to replace filters. It's personal preference, really.

I don't mind the tinting if it's actually tinting and not spraying. Also, in my opinion the tint will have to be very light.

Posted to subscribe, I'm interested in after pics. :)

Lucky man..my 3 day weekend will be spent studying for the cpa on wednesday..next weekend is when I'll hopefully tackle rear tint. I ordered a roll of matte tint for the tail lights :excited:

I agree. I was on the fence, but looked at a few other posts, and subtle tint seems the best. I have a light smoke tint I ordered from R Vinyl tinting. I hate the super dark tint too.

^ I absolutley love this Z!

Thanks everyone. So far, got the front springs installed, back springs are next which are much easier. I did this on my 350z too and forgot how difficult the fronts can be.
