Long story short, this company did a lot of in-house modifications and fabrications to the car that made it so unique. They are extremely cautious about the information the release and who they release it to. Knowing this, out of respect for them and our relationship with them, I am unable to disclose that information. Fortunately, this car is still undergoing massive development and as more people start modifying a Z34 on this level, we will slowly be able to start releasing that information in order to keep eyes focused on this company. In the end all knowledge shared and expressed is at their leisure :driving: Again, we appreciate your enthusiasm and we look forward to slowly yet surely satisfying your craving for this car. -Hunter |
Umm, what exactly are you working with them in? I guess what Im trying to figure out is what does a Le Mans racing team that builds their cars entirely in house need from you guys? Parts? I would imagine the only things that arent really custom made are brakes and some other bits...and they have a bunch of sponsors so I dont think they need parts. Excuse my ignorance, I dont know much about you Hunter, so I just wanted to ask since I'm curious about the development of the car like Travis is.
What is your relationship with the team? |
Yeah that'd be good to know... I second RCZ's question... thanks

You are correct in that a majority of their car is using parts that were made in house. Hopefully as time goes on they will offer more race inspired parts to the public that we can help others acquire. :happydance: My apologies for the confusion, I will clarify right now that they have not acquired and probably will not acquire any parts from us. -Hunter |
So you're saying you may release some parts based on their vehicle?

I am 50X more interested in a company that has Le Mans experience for parts than any of those japanese shops. You got my attention! When you know more about the parts, let us know...My front bumper is pretty banged up so I need one anyway...

I'm a potential customer with a one-track mind. :)
I like how the aux lights were installed on the front, but realize this would have to be modified somewhat for daily use. Specifically, rather than coming out from a mount point on the transverse bar (so the lights are in front of the car), I'd need an S-curve piece to mount lights above the bumper, but clear of the hood. I have a set of big Citroen driving lights (8" diagonal soda glass) or a recently-acquired pair of Bosch Compact-100 4" round driving lights. The mount pointss could be independent or as a mini "bull bar", drillable for more than one pair. As mentioned previously I was originally looking at mounting them down in the snout, below the license plate, but the high mount would improve functionality. My neighbor, who tracks bikes, suggests that there are a number of motorcycle 55w halogens in "silver bullet" shape that might be even more amenable than my car driving lights. So ... if there's a product forthcoming that could simplify the mounting of front-end aux lighting, I think there'd be a market. (I'm not yet crazy on replacing the stock nose unless the lights are all built-in.) |
