My 68 Pontiac Le Mans had the floor dimmer switch. Was a biotch when I was driving at night on country roads with the high beams on, shifting gears with my left foot occupied on the clutch only to come upon an oncoming motorist. I endured many angry flashes of their high beams in those days when I was too slow to come off the clutch to get to that switch!

Haven't seen dimmer switch on floor since my old 1948 Plymouth.

Hybrid tires

For a short time one could buy bias-belted tires. Halfway between bias and radials. Had a set on a 1968 427 Corvette. Kelly-Springfield was the brand.

Windshield wipers

That had a manual mode. Had to swing back and forth with one hand.
