ResistAll

I have been a long time lurker on the forums here and finally bought a 2012 Nismo. These forums are so awesome that normally I don't have to even post questions because I can search for whatever I need. I found a great thread on ClearBra but couldn't find much on ResistAll and was hoping to get some opinions. The dealer I go to is charging $300 for resist all. Is it as good as ClearBra?

Thanks!
Grady

You can buy the whole kit on Ebay for under $20 if you're really enamored of it. But otherwise it's just crap. Go spend $6 on a bottle of NuFinish and call it a day.

Okay...I'll be nice...

It's just a sealant - nothing special...some water repellent fabric spray for the interior and a 1000% dealer mark up. Okay more than that: $15 for the product and $7 for some kid to apply it. So they've got about $22 in it.

That is exactly what I had read on the internet... That it was crap. Question is that ClearBra got some rave reviews in a multi-page thread. So, I'm guessing ClearBra is a totally different procedure/product?

Thanks again,
Grady

Thanks Onzedge!

Don't waste your money on that crap. The clear bra is a piece, or pieces of clear vinyl, whereas 'resistall' is nothing more than a wax/sealant...in which case there are plenty of other (better) products out there to protect your paint. Check out the detail section. A clearbra is going to protect you from rock chips and such. It's nearly invisible, but you will notice it up close.

Thanks Cmike2780... Going to go au naturel. Appreciate all the responses!
