Sold My Z

2 Attachment(s)
Yesterday was a sad day for me....I sold my Z. Although I don't post much on this forum, I used it often to help get though many upgrades to my Z. You guys are great and I wish everyone the best.

For some reason I've been lusting after a 911 and I finally decided to purchase an older one (2002) to see if I really like them and if I can truly live with the expensive maintenance. The goal would be to use the older 911 as a stepping stone to an eventually newer one. Wish me luck with the experiment.

Ya, I know the GTRs have better performance, but I just can't see myself driving one.

Take care and thanks for all the useful and entertaining info.

Great car. I'll head that way myself one day.

Best of luck with the new ride. I like the 911 & hopefully you do not have to pay an arm & a leg for maintenance.

Looks clean! Good luck.

The 911 is in excellent condition. I finally got used to using the 370z as my DD when it's not raining and snowing. I'm trying to get my head around the idea that I need to use this car the same way or what's the point of having a nice car.

Thanks for all the kind wishes. I'm sure I'll continue to lurk on this forum.

Here's some more. I had the dealer put it on a lift so I can check it out from underneath. It was a very interesting lift.

I'm liking that colour. I've been checking out some 997's recently, but need to go drive one to see if I want to make the jump.

Nice car. Not in love with the chrome wheels but hey...not like I have a Porsche. lol

GaleForce 05-06-2012 06:54 AM

Nice car. The 911 would be the next car for me as well. I have always loved the 911's. Do you have any plans for mods?

DrewII 05-06-2012 07:31 AM

congrats that is a nice ride. i'm diggin that midnight blue.

iv always wondered how a 996 would go against the 370z. is it a cerrera s or just a base carrera?

from first impressions (stock for stock) how does the car compare to the 370z in acceleration, breaking and handling?

Breaking? It's probably much better at that. :inoutroflpuke:

Kidding. Kidding. It's hard to hate on the 911s. Good luck with it.
