2012 Autobytel review of the 370z
 

I feel this is a unbias review where Z flaws are pointed out, but with the understanding of the overall Z car philosophical heritage. The Z is a love it or hate it sports car, a niché sports car in every aspect. I personally respect the Z because its the only sports car not trying to copy performance. Its just trying to be as individual as possible in a market flooded with copies. This review pulls out the Z from the enthusiast perspective.

Oh yeah but he was talking about stepping up to the more budget oriented sports cars like mustang and gencoupe.:tup:

I found the review to be very honest. Cargo space, sideways 3/4 view visibility, snug cabin at 6'3".

My biggest disagreement perhaps was small re: Engine note, he said if you do not like it, you'll never like the car. I changed the exhaust and do like the car.

Upgrade to a genesis?! :wtf:

true, he was just talking about the v6 mustang, so perhaps the genesis is a step up from there :tup:

:iagree: the Z sounds best (to me at least) with stock intake box and aftermarket muffler/catback.

I love the added sound from the G3 intakes too. The worst part of course I waste more gas listening to this sound.

+1...... Change the exhaust or put CAI, or just do both.


:iagree: WOW...... Why in the F would you want to "so call up-grade" to a genesis. That would probably be the worst thing that you could do.

EPIC FAIL....... They would be like WTF. Did you get the Hyundai Genesis for free since you traded your Z in?

So glad i bought a 370Z, i came from a 4th gen prelude all motor, turbo 5th gen h22 prelude, supercharged 2005 Frontier, S2000,.

Love the 370Z more than all those cars, still have my Frontier though! back to stock.
