My paddle shifters are butter-smooth /troll

I'd rather sacrifice some shifting feel for a transmission that has thus far held up to the most powerful forced induction setups with little more than a clutch/PP upgrade. That is very impressive in my opinion.

Most manual transmissions will hold big power with a clutch upgrade as long as you don't power shift.

Don't get me started on the Clutch Slave Cylinder....

The wife and I just ordered our first z a couple weeks ago. The wait already sucks. We test drove mustangs, camaros, miatas, a very used carrera, and the z. The mustang had the shortest throw with no notch. We obviously liked the z much more over all, but we both commented on the mustangs short smooth shifts.

Smart choice considering your choices. I would be tempted for the Porsche but a heavily used one is a one small part away from a big repair bill. You will love the Z, somewhere on here I have a list of recommended upgrades you might want to check it out.
