What do you use to clean your car (products)

I was curious as to what most of you use to clean your cars with inside & outside? I have heard that Armor All is not recommended for using on the cars dashboard & on the tires. I have used Armor All on the dashboard & on the tires of all the vehicles that I have owned & have never had any problems. Oh for those of you that have cloth seats what do you use to clean them with?

Check detailing section.

Thanks.......:bowrofl: Sometimes I wonder if I know to read. I have seen & came across so much in this forum that it is hard to remember everything.

I used to mix and match but since meguiars reformulated most of the lineup.... I'm hooked. I always get compliments for having a beautifully shined car. My neighbors try to compete with their shine but can't match up. They ask how I do it but its my secret. Lol. I will just say I use all meguiars and a special buffing cloth.. :)

Cloth seats I use blue coral. Works great.

Meguiars products are amazing. Makes my car looking super metallic.

mequiars gold class for me, start to finish.
shampoo, wipes, glass, wax, tire shine, ect.
Funny story this morning after my regular Saturday wash, I run to the market for a few things. I come out, and there are a few youngsters checkin' out my ride from a few feet away. One kid calls out to me "Dude, that is a sweet looking Porsche" lol. I chuckled and told him it was a Nissan, way better than any Porsche!!:icon17:

Have used the 303 Aero the last couple of years. It has worked well for me. A little goes a long way.

For you guys and gals looking for a quick and easy wax job, I seriously recommend Lucas Slick Mist wax. Usually, my car washes consist of Wheel clean, wash car, clay bar, caranuba wax, then all sorts of interior stuff, and it takes many hours. I gave the Lucas Slick Mist a try after my dad had used it on his Harley, and the smootheness and shine was pretty incredible, especially for a simple spray-on-and-wipe wax.

Zaino Bros Poly Sealant for long term. A new product that I have tried is Meguires spray on "Quik Wax." Its great for in between your full wax schedule. Leaves the surface silky smooth right after a good wash. Autozone or Advanced Auto has it. Amazon.com: Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax: Automotive

UNKNOWN_370 04-15-2012 11:15 AM

I have the Meguiar's gold class wash & conditioner, polish, quik detailer and clay bar, new formula tire clean and shine, (purple bottle) quik wax and liquid wax, meguiars interior cleaner, blue coral for my seats.
I have mixed and matched all kinds of products. Have stayed loyal to a brand set as well to inspect results. I think dollar for dollar. Meguiars is best because for about $75, you get the ultimate clean. Other high end brands give me identical results for $120+. More money isn't always better. Sometimes you break even in quality and lose out in cash.
The only thing I have a problem with is that Meguiars quik detailer must be used in the shade. I have encountered other brands that can be applied in the sun.

kenchan 04-15-2012 11:18 AM

the meguiar's quick detailer (the cheap maroon bottle one) works great for clay lube.

if you get the synthetic one you can use it in the sun to remove bird crap and such. i personally use Prima Slick for synthetic QD but again, op... check the detailing section.

Zaino here as well.

Meguiars ultimate detailer. Amazing. Use it all the time...even on the rims.

Just bought their ultimate wash and wax anywhere but haven't tried it yet.

For deeper cleaning of the rims however, I use Mothers tire spray. I like it better than the meguiars version as it seems to loosen the brake dust better.
