Yeah ok...

Our engines are designed to be revved, so there isn't going to be any harm in holding gears during more spirited driving. For day to day though, there really isn't any point, since the higher revs will wear your engine down quicker than short shifting.

I wanted to confirm because mine the car sound od loud like if the engine was ready to jump out the car and I don't know how to explain it. But sounds crazy. I don't want to mess it up. Like I said is my first manual. But Thanx for the advice.

@ 1200, switch to a good synthetic. Redline Amsoil, royal purple, or castrol edge. The manuals are just loud. Its only inside the car though. Lol. Once you go syn, you should get a 10-20% reduction in noise. Our engines are meant to be revved, so don't worry about Mr. Rev and trade. But keep in mind that driving hard constantly will wear your engine. So know when to give your car a rest. For hard driven cars, really spend money on goodl lubricants. Its worth every penny.

But don't be so dismissive on the forum brother who commented about your potential driving style. Keep it safe bruh. We all speed sometimes, whether we admit it or not.. But there's a thin line between speed and stupid. BE safe.

This was an awesome explanation. Honestly appreciated kid.
I can understand what you saying. But is not like I'm looking to race/speed every day. I drive every day less than 5miles from and to work but maybe on my way some where on the weekends if I'm feelin like feel the car and push it you know. I can say that out of 7days of the week I'll be speed on 1 day. Im not a high schooler anymore where you wanna speed for no reason or show off to your school friends. I'm a grown man that sometimes like to remember what my car is capable to do never race in the st like if I was on the track. But definitely always driving safe. I already flew through a windshield once, I'm certainly not looking to do it again. Thanx a lot kid.

My dude, you might want to check out the quarter track in Englishtown NJ. Or you can find a car or Z club too. They most likely go on spirited runs and know which are the roads safest to do it on. I'm pretty sure a car club of sorts may go to autocrosses and all that so you will have a great source for fun. Plus you get to chill with guys that are about everything car or Z.
I feel that u wanna bug out in ya ride. Finding guys with your same interests will help you make that happen. Do research on the different car clubs in your area.

I only speed when I'm not around where I live lol. I see the cops staring me down, they know.... they know...

Most I've revved to so far is 5.5-6 I think. I may have red lined once or twice. I want to redline it but the engine gets so loud at higher RPM's, makes you think the thing is gonna blow lol.

Three weeks ago I was out there at English town. Just watching it not racing though. But those car clubs ? Nah I don't know about that

That's exactly what I'm talking about. That engine sounded so so loud I felt like it was literally going to blow up. That's why I started this thread

I don't speed (much) I just get to the speed limit very quickly hahaha
