very clean, mr.alcheng!

i think you can add another 7-10mm on the rear if you wanted to.

My engine bay is VERY DUSTY from 2 yrs in El Paso. What is the best way to wash an engine bay? Garden hose, pressure washer, steam?

kenchan 05-30-2012 10:49 AM

i would first try to vacuum as much as you can, and blow out the rest that you can't reach with your shop vac.

then use QD to clean. i dont like spraying water into my engine bay due to all the electronics. if you cover all the harness, etc you can spray it though.

i dust and clean my engine bay weekly.

I feel weird about this too, I see people doing it all the time though.

Picked up a screw in the tire over the holiday weekend. Good thing it's under warranty. But, Nissan didn't have any in stock so I have to wait until today to get the car back.

Man, be careful letting them work on your tire. :(

Mr.kenchan, long time no 'see'… lol

:tiphat: for the compliment, especially from you, the detailing guru

I was thinking about adding a 5mm on top of the 10mm, but the tech at the tires store told me it might cause some vibration issue, not sure about his input but yes, I am still thinking about changing it to a 15mm.

At dim sum place now…… :yum:

Alcheng, was it a hot wax? Did you yank it off quick, or slow?
