Ester Oil is Nissan's own brand synthetic oil, more like OEM product, it's not Mobile 1.

Anybody know how to tell the difference between an engine backfire and a popping exhaust? My FI TDX exhaust has been popping three or four times when I shut down the engine for the last two days.

Thanks for the info, but I don't feel any closer to understanding how to determine what the issue is. :) What I'm hearing though is that the issue is likely engine related and not exhaust. :ugh2:

Good morning, brothers and sisters. Ahhh... Saturday. It is the only day of the week when I feel like I am master of my own destiny. I am up before my wife and the dogs, enjoying some thread reading here and thinking about changing the oil in the 370 and doing some polishing on the 240 today (if it's OK with Mrs. onzedge).

Have a great day everyone!!!!!!!
