Very nice! I wish more Zs around here were willing to meet up. Maybe I should move closer to a hot spot.

We always try to have Z meet in Toronto, and usually only 3-5 show up :ugh2:

Next Monday the 21st is a holiday and one of the member has planned a 40mins drive, and so far... only 5 has signed-up..... :shakes head:

C'mon GTA Z owners.... :ugh2:

My fav one... well use on the tilt-shift lens

Oh is that what's going on there? Is that what's causing the extreme vignette?
I've seen those lenses in the photography mags, but have never played with one myself.

It doesn't cause the vignette, but a tilt-shift lens will change the depth-of-field of the image, it can also "shift" the position of the subject in the image, imaging you bring two distanced subject to same position in a composition, that's how the call it "shift".

When master it well, it can make an actual scene into a miniature scene
It's a special effect lens, pricy and difficult to master....

Lensbaby does shift... but only the position of the focus, but it can't make up the miniature effect. Those picture are real street and scene.

I've only used one a few times and I never do tilt-shift photography, so you got me there :p

hi mr. zman!

hey there, mr.alcheng. huh, you should take that invoice to the dealer and have them reimburse you. patching a tire is sometimes included in the lifetime warranty by the tire manufacturer. :)

Had angled ones but they were kinda long. The pressure they were applying on the screw wasnt enough. A shorter pair w some good teeth would have been better.

I was amazed by its effect the first time I saw the pic in an album, I didn't know it was from a tilt-shift lens and I was "WTF how did they do that!!??"

One of my friend rented it and play with it for a bit, couldn't master it... cost about $1500 a piece :icon14:

Not $$$ consider it's a special lens but rarely have occasion to use it...
