ms. pint - you don't have to justify anything to anyone, especially me. I know how easy it is to get caught up in modding a Z.

I just want you, and everyone else for that matter, to be happy in the long run.

Hey, it's the only benefit of being old - you actually have some experience to share with others so they don't make the same mistakes that we did. :tiphat:

Nah... mod when you feel need to, don't mod for the "too good of a deal".

I only put not too many on my Z, Rims, Spoiler, Intake, HU, Knob and Clear Bra. I did those because I think I NEED them, well, spoiler is more cosmetic but it turns out pretty good. If I mod my Z because of "too good of a deal", I would have Swifts + Koni + sway + camber arm + CBE done on it already....

But before I spend my hard earn money, I always ask myself "what do I need the most?" To ensure I won't regret about spending my money. :tiphat:

I don't know if you recall one of my post on your $1100 couple days ago, I said another option is to just save it for a bigger mod.. that will work too.

just my Molson's CAD$0.02, hope you found it helpful. :tiphat:

Well this guy is notorious for giving his $5 worth of an opinion. Unfortunately, he's the only person I can talk parts with since he's my office mate and he's into motorcycles so he at least knows what I'm talking about. I'm still doing it. I WANT to push the car but I'd rather do it when I know I CAN.

You can! I work with a guy who is also an autocross instructor... He encouraged me to take my old Tiburon out. I was a little reluctant (though mainly because I don't like to get up before the sun, and those events always start gawd-awful early), and he told me that people often tell him that "my car can't do that!" But actually they can! Even a beat-up old Nissan Sentra can be pushed. You just have to know the car's limits, and know your own limits as a driver. The best place to find those out is on a track, of course...

I definitely need a driving day on a track! As JARblue suggested, I'll be taking a class at Driveway Austin as soon as possible.

Ok OFC members, enough with financial advice. While appreciated, this has turned into the Days of Tracie's Life. LOL

No brace here, just need physical therapy that I don't have time for.

Hopefully, you can slow down, and find a little time.

Just finished one of my major pre-audit projects. Very relieved to have that finished. I originally planned on completing it the day before the audit. :icon17:
