Just finished some Mexican Martinis at Trudy's for my reward. A brief session of SRM to make the wife uncomfortable on the way home :icon17:

Now its time for showers and getting ready for a night out on the town. Hope I can make it to the meet tomorrow morn :rofl2:

Nice little Saturday!

The problem with Kenwood is the mic comes with the HU is very very sucky, you might want to plug-in a better quality one when installing it.

About android, only phone call and streaming music, but sometimes the bluetooth will crash if a phone call interupt the music stream. :ugh2:

Any time I have a neighbour ask me to wash their car I say sure bring it by, $50 for a basic wash  They never take me up on it. Cheap bastards. lol

hey Mr.kenchan, so far I will suggest either Pioneer or Kenwood HU, my friend who is in car-electronics business told me this two are the best quality right now, but he suggest Kenwood between the two.

Anyway, you mention about compatibility with android OS.... I kind of give up hope on that since all the manufactures are only focusing they software develop towards iOS, which is extremely sucks!!!

Unless android OS can really take over the popularity of iOS in the coming couple years, I can't really see we will have HU compatible with android, which is very sad.... :ugh2:

yah, im going to definitely keep my eyes open on the pioneers.

One thing I will say about the Pioneer AVIC is the forum support is phenomenal and you can upgrade the 110BT or the 120BT to the 130BT via firmware upgrade yourself. The only difference between the 110 and 120 hardware-wise is the 120 added an HD radio tuner. Otherwise the software gives you all the features of the 130 (of course, its still limited Android compatibility).

so after finding out i cant really do much with my droid, im thinking of maybe getting an avic. which model would you recommend if i go this route? :)

Curious...what kind of hoops does one need to go through to get those HUs to work with our steering wheel controls?

Hey guys, whatup??? Havent been around lately. Busy with work and woman probs....ugh. Went over my buddies house today and re-assembled my exhaust to eliminate the rattle I had since installing my rear sway. Also had a vibration coming on at about 80mph. Knew something had to be lose cause I had all my tires balanced earlier in the week. Turns out the endlink bolt that holds the bottom of the strut on had come COMPLETELY loose on both sides in the front. The passenger side was damn near bout to fall off!! Now we didnt torque to spec when re assembling all that stuff but def cranked it down super hard. Very suprised to see it that loose. Applied some threadlock and cranked them back down. Also stiffened up my Konis and set the rear sway to stiff. Feels great. Today I also tested out my new GoPro and external mic setup and all I can say is WOW!!! The external mic sounds beyond amazing. Far better than I expected!!! If I find the time Im gonna try to shoot a nice vid tomorrow and show you guys how great this setup is:tup: I will most certainly have awesome footage when I get back from ZDAYZ. Just one work week separates me from ripping twisties with hundereds of Z owners in the Great Smoky Mtns:excited:

Alchemy, what setting do you have your front swaybar set at?
