Kenman is there a short detour you can take to get around the construction?

no snow yet, though they are still calling for it today and some on Thursday as well.

Just looked at the radar looks like rain now and a mix a little east of you, it is moving west. Yes the weather is moving the wrong way.

actually it could be related. most steering locks dying has something to do with low battery charge. it COULD be that the steering lock itself is draining it, or the low charge is contributing to the functional error of the steering lock.
