I have a PW Z and I was thinking about powder coat the Strut Bar White. What do you guys think about this. Feel free to post yours, specially PW Z's!

Well I got this picture from a member of this forum. I stole it because it was just too sexy.. I forgot the name :( . He got a PW Nismo... Really gorgeous ride.

anyone have a CY Z with a painted strut bar? i'm not sure what color to go with...

i'm thinking of painting mine black chrome.

powdercoated by Mike here on the forums. He did the logo as well. And in the earlier picture he also powdercoated my stillen Gen 3's in white too. Looked badass.

Well, gave Mike the strut bar and he got it to me a week later. But i was in no hurry and didnt ask him his Schedule. hes also a pilot for delta. but normally, his turn around time is really fast.

I do know he has a spare strut bar at his place :p

you'd have to work out the numbers and logistics with him though.

chris, your engine bay looks good! was wondering what the red maf tubes looked like in a MB bay. what are the red hoses connected to the post maf's? another random question, what did you do w/ the aluminum nozzles that shipped w/ the Z1 tubes?

I'm not sure, it might contrast, or it might look good. Could go either way...

Those are the PCV tubes that Z1 also sells. They replace those black boxes on your stock intakes.

I used them to connect to the PCV tubes.

Yeah my theme is Black/Red.

I also have my stereo cover plates to match. And had my brake calipers done too.

on a yellow z would you go yellow(color matches), blue or red?

I'd go Yellow, or Black. Depending on if there are other Black accents.

not really. there are smoke chrome/black chrome powdercoats, but they really just look gray metallic.

are you looking for something to the effect of these emblems?

I love this color!. but since mine is PW I think that I should go with a White Powder coat.

I bought that brace from Rick/VIP Status a long time ago. I actually need to get it re-done as the finish wasnt so great when i got it, and has gotten worse over the last 2 yrs. But yes its a black chrome and does match the black chrome emblems pretty well.
