Yep common occurance. Its not a problem per se. Not be inflamatory but you will learn how to drive it to minimize this noise if it bothers you. It seems to occur if you clutch in quickly with a load in the trannie in first gear.

Mine sounds like a ducati dry clutch if I clutch-in while decelerating in gear. Like, slowing from 15mph to 5mph in 1st gear using engine braking, then pressing the clutch in. Happens in 1st and 2nd gear.

Just bought a brand new base 370z coupe. Anyone else have this problem with their 370. Its like a rattling noise. Anyone know what im talking about? Sound is really prominent on an incline and im on first gear going up slowly. Been Driving manual cars for years so i know its not my driving.

yah, happens when there's not enough rpm especially on incline in 1st.

it's not the car, it's actually the driver. give it higher rpm and engage smoothly.

replace clutch helper spring. read about it. GL! :)

I get that kind of noise on my 7AT. It happened when going up an incline and when accelerating after a red light. Sounds like something underneath the 370Z broke or something? LOL

Well i know about the not enough RPM noise but this is a distinct completely different noise than that

maybe try the same incline with more rev before you engage 1st.
