Yes, but if you set it below 7k it's likely because you've never seen anthing past 6"...

Oh, I mean 6k ;)

I need to lower mine because the light never goes off for me even as my rpm bounce of the limiter. Probably was set to 8000 ...

I've never seen mine as well. How do you lower it?

this is a good thread.... so this is my first Z also my first MT.
i am close to reach to 1200 miles. should be reaching it by the end of this week.
is it okay for me to push every gear (counting 1st gear) to 6-7000RPMs ?
i have been switching it every 3000rpm, bc I'm on "break in" season still

I dont think you can set a rev limit on the '09's. It does limit revs to 5k in nuetral though automatically

If you get an Osiris reflash you can set it to whatever you want... not recommended tho :bowrofl:

Yes, you can go ahead and start hitting redline in every gear after 1200 miles. You will find it to be quite exhilarating. Especially redlining 6th gear :driving:

LMAO............ I am breaking in my car as we speak. I am shifting my '12 Nismo at 3k RMP's. Once I pass 500 miles I will probably open it up like a crazy mofo.
