Just a big air horn, aka train horn.

Im a heavy horn user. I would love to lay on that thing when stuck behind some slow azz in the fast lane!

I have a train horn setup in my truck... it was worth every penny! however I know the ones that are worth buying all require onboard air.. and I hope no one is daring enough to try and mount a compressor in their Z!

i need to get one for my honda fit... last time i had to blow its horn it started to flake after about 2sec at this dumbarse.. went from anger to embarrassement........

so on my G i have stabel air horns. sounds very musical like a ferrari. :tup: i like blasting that... and it can go for many many seconds with a solid tone.

OP you should look into the PIAA horns.. my buddies all had them on their subis and they sounded pretty good

Thanks, but my post was tongue-in-cheek. I have Hella Dual-tones on my 240z and I like them even though they make it sound like a Volvo Station Wagon.

i have one on my f-250, i love it !!! Would hate to hear that compressor on the Z !!

I have a train horn in my 08 accord coupe ... Onboard compressor and tank in the trunk.. Love it!! I piss people off quite a bit .. But only when they deserve it of course

Omg omg omg I have got to get one installed in my Z, how much air do you need for a train horn, I am a truck driver our tanks are not that huge, so can I get a small one. Anyone done this mode yet on here on their Z?

I changed my mind I also want a intercom, is it hard to get one installed? A lot of modifications made to the car? If so probably pass

Years ago I mounted an air horn on my 1971 Ford van. It was a simple system. It used a vacuum operated air pump to fill a small air tank. It worked great.

someone should do a bicycle bell but amplified super loud...
