I believe it just comes down to respect for oneself as well as others, which a lot of people are lacking and sadly to say, simply don't care.

I remember a guy on Autopia that was a little whacked about his car (It's a cleaning site, a lot of OCD people). He carried cones and caution tape with him wherever he went and roped off his car so people would say away from it. He also had these big inflatable bumpers that hung from the window sills (think inflatable pool raft) to protect the doors just in case someone got inside the caution tape. Everyone thought he was just joking @ first then realized that it was really the way the guy parked. And it wasn't like it was a Veyron or something, just an average car.

The world needs more people like this so I seem more normal...:roflpuke2:

This forum is very cathartic to read. Nice to know others go through what I am experiencing and thinking while taking good care of my Z. :tiphat:

I just don't understand why people on welfare need to make a point it's like dude you are already taking our tax dollars why more do you want? Go to college get a job and then you will experience a good ride.

People don't understand what hard work is in America now. I vote for a new revolution.

Um...wealthy people can be careless douche bags as well. I've seen it from all crowds at least. But I get what you're saying. If you don't have one, don't hate on one.

nismochiq 05-11-2012 01:59 PM

No I understand I completely agree with you on that statement. But sometimes people just get jealous

Bucketlist2012 05-11-2012 04:33 PM

We will always have Winners, and Losers.

I hit a car in the Parking lot with my big Pick up last year rushing to a emergency dentist appt.. I barely felt it..

But I took the time to leave a note and My Insurance fixed the guys Car...He was blown away at my honesty...It is just the right thing to do..

And with my Cars which are pretty nice cars, I get the hate from haters all the time...

Maybe they should make better life choices , so they too could have nice houses and cars.. In my area, I pay Mello-Roos taxes, basically funding the section 8 crowd of losers..An extra 5500 dollars a year..So when they ask for a hand out, I gave to the tax man...I have no mercy for those that do nothing and expect everything..

But man do they hate people with nice cars...Maybe smoking weed all day and buying 26" rims for their Buick LeSabre is not making them happy..

^Haha this was funny.

Just seems like you have terrible luck. But like a few others have said, try to minimize the risk by parking somewhere where only one side is vulnerable.

kellyefields 05-12-2012 02:23 PM

This is what happens to me and even though the entire parking lot is empty and I park way out some POS ends up beside me. and the only thing holding it together was that home depot sticker on the back of their car.

If you look at it from a different direction, that car is now protecting your car from that shopping cart if it decided to roll down the hill.

What is with all the bums leaving their carts in the middle of the lot ?

I am 52 years old and i was raised to unload my cart and bring it to the area were you leave the carts.

I don't wonder why most people have POS cars..they are lazy, losers, and don't care about anyone , including themselves...

Then they complain about the economy, or their job, or this or that...

I have no mercy for them...I made a great life for myself, so i have a great home and toys...

Built on hard work and by doing the right thing...

And yes that POS is protecting your car from other losers...

Bucketlist2012 05-12-2012 03:40 PM

More rant...

I have people who take carts and then just leave them in my neighborhood..

I throw them in my truck and deliver them back to the store when i go shopping...Someone has to clean up after these losers and i have no problem doing it..just not in my Z cars...

kellyefields 05-12-2012 03:44 PM

I dont know if you see it in the pic but the suv a lady was getting ready to pull away and that was her cart. so as she was backing out I grabbed the cart and took it about 10 feet to the cart return as she was eyeballing me and me her. I hope I made her fill like a bigger POS than that car beside mime for putting her car away because she was to lazy.

You made my day...You are what is right with the world, and she is what is wrong with the world...

Well done..She will never understand and that is ok...But when she complains about how her life sucks, she will never understand why.

Water seeks it's own level, and her's in gutter high...:tup:

ernie 05-12-2012 10:43 PM

I used to have the same problem until I became handicapped, having handicapped plates is a blessing in disguise because there is always plenty of room in the parking space. Being handicapped sucks big time, its a helluva way to get a good parking spot!

Further proof our car screams hit me. Two days ago was I was passing a couple cars that were slugging along in the left lane (Kitsap county is infamous for slow drivers hogging the left lane) in Silverdale. My front bumper was mid way to a black honda when he proceded to attempt to cut me off and pass the car in front of him! I immediately swirved my car onto the shoulder (what little there was) and with forward momentum already in progress downshifted and gunned it as he proceeded to enter my lane. After he was behind me, and still on the road I slammed on my brakes, got out of my car, and in psychotic killer mode started towards this little pricks car. He was in utter shock that I stopped in the middle of the road walking towards him with fire in my eyes about to beat the ever loving $hit out of this prick. He was floundering with his shifter trying to get into reverse. Just 10 feet from his car he backed up, (this is the funny part) put on his left turn signal (haha) and squealed his front tires running like the scared b1tch he is.

Fun times for a night run to Taco Bell huh?

I am not so sure that Road Rage posts are all that appropriate here.

wdkwang 05-13-2012 10:15 PM

a lil story with my 2 friends leaving a bar and walking to the parking lot. my friend that drives a civic noticed this other car parked so close to his driver side that he had to really squeeze in. so he decided to be funny and started to repeatedly open his door hitting the other person's car very hard, just saying "oops" "oops" "oops." we were dying. we carpooled so we waited for him to back out first before getting in. as he reversed, he kept opening and slamming his door against the other person's car. you had to be there to see how funny the moment was

Thanks...Funny as I was delivering two carts to the grocery store a few weeks ago, a guy walked up to me and said that he does the same thing in his neighborhood..

I shook his hand and said thanks..Yes there are more of us out there..

I drove home with a smile..

In the winter, I love to return carts. Mostly because I can pretend I'm drifting them. Otherwise, I do it because as I do not want carts near my car, I'm sure others would not want carts near their cars.

On the other hand, Z cars also seem to scream "race me"

I will agree with you on the race me part, why is that? Especially more with trucks that have a v8? Like they will go so slow in the left hand lane and when you pull up next to them at a stop sign they speed off like they have something to prove

That and civics wtf people!

Other Nissan owners like altimas are jealous they just stare

Evos are like us...we know we have power but don't want to race.

But the worse I have experienced are mustangs!

Sounds bad but most not all
Have been experiences with these drivers.
