Car meet awkwardness

Does anyone else feel awkward driving your Z into a parking lot not knowing theres another car meet there until you get in there? Bunch of Evo's was in the lot and everyone was standing around there cars..when I was trying to find a parking spot..everyone just stopped what they were doing and stared. My wife wanted me to drive around them..but I went the other way. I dont know maybe its just me. I should of just got out and said :hello: oh wells.

As a former Evo X owner, I can speak from experience that they were all jealous of the sexiness of your car.

I remember sitting outside my friend's place on Hermosa Ave and an EVO rolled by all carbon'd out, followed by a STI both with loud exhaust and we looked at each other an he said "WTF would you want to draw attention to yourself while driving THAT?"

Car meets are always kind of awkward I think. That's why I always try to make sure a few people I know personally will be there before I go to one.

All of the car meets I go to are always very open so I've never really had this feeling.

STLZC is having our first meet March 3rd! Haven't "officially" announced it yet, but we're sending an email out soon. Did you sign up??

I've found the best way to integrate yourself into a pre-existing car meet is to jump on top of your car hood and loudly proclaim your car to be the fastest car there. You will be the center of attention in no time.

:iagree: I don't understand at all, but feelings are feelings, so the OP did the right thing. His feelings, his decision.
