Really want to drive a Z for a few hundred miles to see if I can live with it.

Certain dealerships will let you take a Z for an extended test drive... you could also see if any car rental places stock them although I think that is rare.

:iagree: Some places around here give 24 hour test drives sometimes. You can ask...it never hurts.

Good luck. I don't even let people I like drive my car. Let me know if this somehow works out, I'm gonna try it at the GT-R or Ferrrari forums.... On second thought...you probably have a better chance of finding a place that rents Ferrari's.

I'd never let someone test drive my Z. Seeing vids of people absolutely trash rental cars on youtube is more than enough. Plus, the one time I ever let someone drive one of my cars, a camry, she hit a lightpole while parking....with me in the passenger seat :o

I agree with the others, definitely try dealerships. When I was buying the Z, several dealerships were fine with me test driving the Z for the entire afternoon. I'm sure you can find one that would be willing to let you test drive the whole day if you showed that you are serious about buying.
