Yeah i think they are appealing to 350z owners, but people who were a fan of the old 370z design will most likely be dissapointed if they wanted to get a new 370Z.

I guess they can still get a 09-12 :icon17:

Well I dont care for it. That is why I just bought a '12 model. I like the fangs and front bumper design on the '09-'12. The new wheels would make me want to go aftermarket ASAP. Whereas my current ones I like and I am in no rush to ditch them. Other than that its the same car.

I agree with you Unknown. Getting 350Z owners to trade up makes sense. The rest of us will just have to wait until 2014/2015 for a significant change. Lets hope for classic styling and more power (torque)

If you like the new wheels? You can wait for someone to buy a 13 and when they start modding a sport. You can buy the new sprt wheels at a discount.

No I do not like the new '13 wheels. What I meant by what I said was that if I had the '13 wheels I would want to sell them and get aftermarket right away. Whereas with the current Sport Wheels I can live with them as I like the design and am in no hurry to get rid of them for aftermarket.

Nope, don't like it. Looks too mainstream with the new front end.

ZMan8 03-08-2012 02:57 PM

Nissan played the safe card on this one.
-They made a redesign with hopes of getting all those 350z owners to make a switch.
-The less aggressive wheels/front end in hopes of getting casual buyers in.

the car doesn't have the same bite. what they did with the front end was very stupid in my opinion. they already offered day time LED's and no one got them so why make it a permeant part of the car. at least make them look cooler. that looks like some hyundai ****.

I agree about the hyundai part. :icon17:

Looks like some nice cosmetic improvements with the front end and wheels. I'm sure it'll look a lot better in person. Internet photos often don't do a cars looks much justice. Naturally no one wants to admit they bought the wrong car or that their car is in anyway inferior.

:agree: that front end sux, the DTRL's look stupid

I was debating on waiting for the 2013 or getting a 2012. I went with a 2012 that I got a couple weeks ago as I feel the 2012 looks more aggressive and I dont like the Daytime Running Lights. The new design of the 2013's rims I am not big on either. Seems like a step back with the cosmetic changes as it looks like a 350Z.

'13 is all right, but I hate the wheels on the car.

halflife78 05-03-2012 12:30 PM

May be a dumb question but I am assuming fitment on aftermarket kits is going to be the same?

I would probably think so, but if not you might have to wait a little bite for the aftermarket kits to roll out.
