No, we all know Z can't even beat a leaf. There was video proof.

Its time we forget this is a sportcar and use as tow truck.

The mustang has more hp & tq, so that doesn't surprise me. I'm sure with the right mods, not FI, that a 370z could win. But it's not fair to compare a modded car to stock car. It's American V8 car, they're all about the 1/4 mile. If you read reviews the writers are always surprised when the car handles well.

Kind of refreshing actually... Mustangs are thicker than hair on a dog around here, they all want to race, they always lose. I mostly ignore them anymore. It's just so boring.

No. It's because of the more advanced rear suspension set up on the Mustang. The solid axle firmly plants the power onto the asphalt. The less efficient double wishbone on the 370z has each rear wheel putting different power in different directions, so it's slower to accelerate off the line. :stirthepot:
